Dear Baby,

I'm starting these posts (which I hope I will keep up with for your sake!) just so you can have a small glimpse of how life is for your daddy and I now. I want to document all the important moments and how we feel about it, so that one day we can share these special moments and feelings with you. So I guess I will recap everything that has happened so far.

On Sunday August 25, 2013 your daddy and I found out that you would be joining us in our lives! I didn't think I was pregnant, but your daddy convinced me to take a pregnancy test. Turns out, I was pregnant! :) When we first saw those two little lines show up, I was in complete shock. I didn't know what to think. Your daddy was grinning from ear to ear. I don't think I had ever seen him so happy and excited. After the initial shock wore off, I was excited too!

So now that you know when and how we found out, I would like to let you know a little more about what's happening in our lives at this time. So in case you're curious, you'll know all about who your daddy and I were before you came into the world.

Your daddy and I started dating on October 13, 2012. We moved in together May 20, 2013. Your pawpaw wasn't happy about that at all. He told me he was going to beat your daddy with a 2x4 lol. At the time of finding out we would be expecting you, we were living in your second cousin Andy's house in McDonough. (Hopefully by the time you can read and understand this, we will be living in Blue Ridge!). Your daddy works full time at Millard Refridgeration Warehouse. He works from 2pm to really late :/ Three days before I found out about you, I had started a new job at a BBQ place in Hapeville called Hambones. It didn't last long, considering you caused me to have extremely bad morning sickness! But I still love you very very much! :p

On Septermber 2, 2013 your daddy and I hopped on his motorcycle (our only transportation at the time) and headed up to Blue Ridge to stay the night with your daddy's mom. He hasn't decided what you will call her yet lol. The next morning, Daddy and I headed to Fannin County Courthouse to get our marriage license! We were so incredibly excited to make our family whole.

Well, that's all the big news I have to document for now. You're currently giving me "morning" sickness, which actually isn't just in the mornings lol. I feel sick 24/7. So I'm going to go eat something to make me feel better :)
