Abandoned

It has been way too long since I've updated this blog. I've wanted to update for a while, but I just can't find the time or the desire to sit down and write about everything that's been going on. Most of it is stuff I'd rather not remember, but everything in life happens for a reason. I truly believe that. So I guess it's worth documenting in some small way at least. I love looking back on this blog and seeing where I was and what I was doing at different points in my life. So I guess I will just write everything that I've been needing to.

In my last post I mentioned that I decided on going to Georgia Southern. I was accepted and after thinking on it for a whole, I decided that I should go to school for a better job than publishing. I don't think I would make a very good living doing that unless I lived in a city somewhere. I definitely didn't want to uproot my life to go off to a big city, so I decided to go for teaching. I wanted to be a middle school teacher. I was accepted and everything was going fine. I had bought all the stuff I needed for my dorm and was ready to go. A week before I left I got a call saying my financial aid wasn't enough to cover the cost of that school and I would need about $10.000 more per semester. Of course I couldn't afford that so I wasn't able to go. So as of now, I've decided to just become an ultrasound technician and start school for that in the fall.

I'm happy say that Ronnie and I are still together and he is still as amazing as I thought he was on day  1. We are actually planning on moving in together in 3 weeks when he graduates. I've been saving a lot lately and hopefully I'll be able to get a car soon. That would honestly be the icing on the cake for me!

Some not so good news is that my grandfather died yesterday morning. Papa Charlie passed away in his sleep. That's all we know as of right now. Hopefully we will know more soon.
