Brandon and I are still going strong. We celebrated our six months the Friday before last. He wrote me a really nice card and bought me some beautiful white flowers. It was really sweet how he did it, too. My dad made me take my sister Hannah to her mom's house in Augusta that afternoon, so I was gone most of the day and didn't get a chance to see Brandon. I got home pretty late and when I was pulling into my driveway, I noticed something sticking out of my mailbox. I went to find out what it was and saw a bouquet of flowers in there! It was completely romantic and I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate six months. As for Scarlett, she's doing perfectly fine. She's starting to teeth now, which is a huge struggle because Brandon and I are so helpless. We don't know what to do to help her! We took her with us to the Mexican restaurant the other night as our first experience out as a family. Brandon and I definitely need more practice when it comes to taking her out. The first thing she did was grab the salsa bowl and throw it across the table and it went everywhere! I thought it was hilarious, but Brandon was really nervous after that. I had to take her to the bathroom and change her during dinner because she did a massive poop. It was so funny because she was sitting in her highchair playing with her toy, then all of a sudden her face started getting red and she started grunting and struggling.
I'm back in school now and I'm so excited because if I pass all of my classes this year, I can graduate! That's so huge for me, because I thought that after everything I've failed lately, there was no hope for me graduating on time. I'm so thankful that there is still an opportunity. I literally almost cried when I found out I would still walk in 2012 with my original graduating class.

hey amber, so things seem good which i'm glad about. hope your new laptop is still awesome.
ReplyDeletedon't worry too much about taking scarlett out, a lot of places will make it clear whether or not they are child friendly, and if they are they expect things to happen. Don't worry too much, you learn quickly what needs to be done when you're out :)
as for teething, you can buy teething rings i think in supermarkets and baby stores, and perhaps something similar to bongela to rub into her gums? it kind of soothes the areas that are sore.
lots of lovex
